Music has been an inseparable part of education since time immemorial. Starting from our early days at school, we learn several things via the medium of Music. Whether it is songs about animals or our ABCs. Music is also the most ancient way of learning in our Indian culture. It is the medium through which we learnt our Shlokas or through which we came to know of our epics and folklore.
Arya Gurukul being the top CBSE school in Mumbai has always encouraged and provided several avenues to explore the musical talents of its students. In fact, each and every student in our school is encouraged to pursue their interest in music, either by singing or playing an instrument. Our school events such as the Annual day are a showcase of the special talents of our students.
This year, our students participated in Anuvrat Geet Gayan Pratiyogita, a Singing competition attended and participated by best schools in Mumbai. And we proudly announce that our student, Aayush Parag bagged the 1st Prize in the Junior singer category and is qualified for the Nationals. Whereas, our Senior group singers bagged the 2nd Prize at the state level. All our students had been practicing and preparing for this event which eventually bore fruit.
It was indeed a treat to our ears to listen to them perform. All the participants who performed and the winners made us proud with their brilliant stage presence and confidence. We congratulate and wish many more successes to all the participants and winners.
